About

In the ‘90’s Scott moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. By 1996 he and fellow London native, Katy Vernon, had formed The Camdens. They began as a duo, but soon added a drummer and bassist and started gaining local success. During their years together they were lucky enough to play all the Twin Cities major venues, ranging from First Avenue and Fine Line to the main stage at Taste of Minnesota. Their debut CD Half Way Around the World made the college radio charts and as well as airtime on local stations.
Following The Camden’s, Scott began working solo, adding singing to his usual guitar and songwriter role. To him, it’s all about the songs. He’s not into fads and believes good music maintains its appeal. If a song sounds as great on an acoustic guitar as it does with a full band, that’s his test of a good song.
Scott grew up in London, England where he was raised in a household filled with music. By high school, he’d started his first band, Hard Options, and while they played with passion, initially playing other people's music was a challenge. That changed when he decided to stop learning covers and start writing their own songs. Suddenly the band found their voice and at their second gig they were spotted by a A & R rep and were signed to a London indie label.
